FAQ
I was born outside Korea. Do I convert to Korean time?
No. A birth chart is about where the sun was at the place you were born. Enter the local clock time; Palja converts it to local solar time using your city's longitude and compares it against the solar terms at that exact instant. (The famous “subtract 30 minutes” rule for Korea is the same correction — Korea's clock runs on 135°E while Seoul sits at 127.5°E.)
What about daylight saving?
Handled from your birth year and city, including historical rules such as Korea's summer time in 1948–51, 1955–60 and 1987–88.
Why is it so long?
Short readings are everywhere. Palja keeps writing until you hit a sentence that makes you stop and think “that is me.” And instead of good or bad, it reads each energy as “when it runs too high” and “how to use it.”
Is this fortune-telling?
Palja borrows the structure of Korean myeongni (四柱命理) — day master, five elements, ten gods — and reads it as a personality framework: tendencies, not predictions. It never says “you will”; it says “you tend to”.
