Twenty picks
in front of a mirror.
Eight face features and twelve questions about color. Pick them all at once and get both the traditional face reading (feature by feature, plus your element face) and your personal color (twelve types with a palette). If you've cast your chart, we show whether your face fills it in. No photo, nothing sent anywhere. An AI reading from a photo is Pro, at the bottom.

FAQ
Should I believe face reading?
Gyeol uses face reading as old symbolism, not a verdict. 'A wide forehead means a good mind' is centuries of story, not science. We borrow the story to look at 'I tend to be like this', which is why every sentence says 'traditionally read as'.
What happens to my photo?
Only Pro uses a photo. Your browser shrinks it to 1024px and sends it to our server, which passes it to the AI (Anthropic Claude) to read and then discards it. It is stored nowhere; only the text remains. Details in the privacy policy.
What's the chart connection?
Traditionally, if the face's element is what the chart lacks, 'the face fills it in'; if it's the same, 'that energy inside and out'. Cast your chart on Gyeol first and this page connects them automatically.
Accurate without a photo?
A professional drapes fabric against your face; this turns that into questions. If you sit on a border, two types may both fit; hold both palettes up and keep the one that brightens your face. The big direction (warm or cool) is right for most people.
What are the three axes?
Temperature is whether the color under your skin is yellow or pink; lightness is whether your overall tone is light or deep; clarity is whether clear or muted colors suit you. The four seasons come from temperature × lightness; the twelve types from which axis dominates.
Different from my saju element colors
They can differ. Element colors are symbolic, meant to balance energy; personal color is what actually suits your skin. When they differ, dress by personal color and use element colors for accents.
