What the moment
you were born says.
Enter your birth date, time and city once. From that we read your Saju (day master, elements, engine), today's reading (today's pillar against your day master) and the sky you were born under (sun sign, moon sign, moon phase). All in your browser, no fortune-telling voice.
You are
Your core
The center of a birth chart is the Day Master: the heavenly stem of the day you were born. One of ten energies, and it is you.
Element balance
How much Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water your eight characters hold, hidden stems included. The month branch sets the season, so it counts 1.5×.
Your engine
If the Day Master is who you are, the way the other characters relate to it (the “ten gods”) is what moves you. The pattern that appears most is your engine.
Who you grow with
From stem pairings and the generating cycle: the people you and they both grow around.

FAQ
I was born outside Korea. Do I convert to Korean time?
No. A birth chart is about where the sun was at the place you were born. Enter the local clock time; Gyeol converts it to local solar time using your city's longitude and compares it against the solar terms at that exact instant. (The famous “subtract 30 minutes” rule for Korea is the same correction — Korea's clock runs on 135°E while Seoul sits at 127.5°E.)
What about daylight saving?
Handled from your birth year and city, including historical rules such as Korea's summer time in 1948–51, 1955–60 and 1987–88.
Why is it so long?
Short readings are everywhere. Gyeol keeps writing until you hit a sentence that makes you stop and think “that is me.” And instead of good or bad, it reads each energy as “when it runs too high” and “how to use it.”
What is different about Pro?
The free reading assembles 30 pre-written blocks. Pro takes your eight characters, your ten-year cycles and this year's months, and has an AI write about 2,000 words for you alone, in the same voice and under the same rules (no predictions, no scary words). One payment; save the address you return to and the report stays there.
What is today's pillar?
Just as each of the year, month, day and hour has a stem and branch, so does every calendar day. Today's stem relates to your day master through the ten gods and sets the theme; the branches set the mood. It cycles every sixty days.
Is this astrology?
Half. The positions of sun and moon, the moon's phase and sunrise and sunset are astronomy. The readings attached to the twelve signs are the old astrological tradition, which Gyeol uses as a personality framework, not prophecy. Sun sign for the outward self, moon sign for the inner self: that's the tradition.
My sign is different from what I thought
Sign boundaries (say, November 22) shift by about a day from year to year. Gyeol uses the sun's actual longitude at your hour, so if you were born on a cusp it can differ from the magazine table. This is the accurate one.
